Baby shower invitation etiquette
Traditionally a friend or relative hosts, and the invitation says “Please join us for a baby shower honoring…”. It is acceptable to include registry information on a shower invitation (unlike a wedding invitation), usually as a small line or a separate insert. Send invitations four to six weeks ahead; showers are commonly held four to eight weeks before the due date.
