What to put on a birthday invitation
Whose birthday it is and the age (if they want it shared), the date and start and end time, the address, what to wear or bring, and who to reply to by when. For children's parties, an end time and a note on whether parents should stay saves a lot of messages.
Surprise party? Put “Shh, it's a surprise!” in the top line and ask guests to arrive 30 minutes before the guest of honour.
